When it comes to eating, you may of heard the saying you are what you eat. This means that if you eat rubbish then you are likely to feel rubbish and that we should try and fuel our bodies with the best types of foods to ensure that we are healthy and feel good.
Lots of people have different ideas as to what foods are good. Some people believe that good old fashioned home made meals of pie and mash or told in the hole are the best sorts of foods you can eat whereas others think that eating a vegetarian or vegan diet based on plants, fruit and vegetables is the way forward. The truth is different foods suit different people. Some people will feel quite ill if they have dairy or gluten for example. They need to try and avoid foods containing these things to help ensure that they feel well. Often it has a lot to do with digestion. Some people find it easier to digest foods than others. Also if you have always been very careful about what you eat and air on the side of caution, you may find that you are more likely to get ill from food than someone who is not quite so cautious.
